Lincoln Casino Review 2018

When we saw Lincoln Casino on our list of reviews, we immediately jumped to thoughts of a very American-themed brand, featuring the former President prominently displayed. Strangely, when we got to the homepage, we were greeted with more of a VIP-looking theme, with no U.S. branding at all. Now, we aren’t here to review the web design – what is far more important is what the site offers in the way of games, promotions and loyalty programs. Have a read of what we found beyond the homepage.

Company Background

To be honest, finding information on the owners of this casino was much harder than we would have liked. What we were able to determine is that this is another brand from the Liberty Slots Group. This team purchased the assets of English Harbour, and Lincoln Casino was launched in 2013.

The casino operations are based in Curacao, but there is no sign of a gaming license from that jurisdiction or any other for that matter. This causes us a bit of a concern as at the very least having al license from Gaming Curacao would mean the owners would have had to perform a little due diligence. The site appears to be open to players from all countries except Canada (they may have a presence there as well), and the U.S. states that currently have their own online gaming legislation in place.

The Casino Games

The games at Lincoln Casino are provided by WGS (the old Vegas Technology and Odds On software company). This software has been around for almost 20 years, although there hasn’t been much done in the way of developing new games in some time.

The games selection at Lincoln Casino is less varied than you may find at other brands, especially those who choose to use vendors like Microgaming. However, for a site that accepts U.S. players, there aren’t too many options to choose from, and the WGS roster fits into the landscape.

The best part about the WGS games is definitely the slots catalog. There are a couple of smaller progressives which give you a chance to win a big bonus on top of your regular spin, and the games while not plentiful in number offer excellent graphics and gameplay.

Table Games players at this casino may be disappointed to only find a handful of games, but within that, we found several Blackjack variants. We actually like the fact that there aren’t dozens of tables to scroll through as we enjoy playing the classic versions of many of the Table Games out there. Overall, we think the majority you will find this area of the site satisfactory for your gambling needs.

Mobile Compatibility

The WGS platform is built for both download and instant-play options. While there is no app for you to download to your mobile device, you can access the games from the browser on your phone or tablet using the instant-play version. The games are modified to fit the smaller screens, without compromising all the great graphics you will find on the PC version.

The Welcome Bonus

On the surface, like most of what we found at this casino, the Welcome Bonus at Lincoln Casino looks very attractive. The casino is offering new depositing players the chance to receive up to $5,000 in bonus by matching each of the first five deposits to a maximum of $1,000. However, before you start sending

the site thousands of dollars, you need to hear a couple of the Terms and Conditions. Most notable of the T&C is that you can only clear bonuses while playing slots or Keno. Table Games players seem to be shut out of the Welcome Bonus, although you may be able to convince the site via email to give you something of value. While the wagering requirement is a respectable 20x, we doubt many players will actually be able to convert too many bonus dollars.

The Payment Options

As with any casino that accepts U.S. players, payment options are going to be limited. If you live outside the U.S., you do have the option of using an e-wallet solution like Skrill, but for our American readers, you are limited to credit cards and bank wires.

Deposits

  • EcoPayz
  • MasterCard
  • Neteller
  • Paysafe Card
  • Visa
  • Sofortuberwaisung
  • Skrill

Withdrawals

  • Bank Wire Transfer
  • Check
  • ECO Card
  • Neteller
  • UnionPay
  • Skrill

The VIP Program

The casino offers a loyalty/VIP program through its Lincoln Rewards. This is a multi-tiered program that allows you to achieve higher status by earning certain amounts of comp points. Once you have achieved a particular level, you are rewarded with a more attractive set of reload bonuses. To be honest, we had hoped to find more in the way of rewards from the site. Instead of taking the deposit bonus option, we recommend accepting the weekly rebate offer, in which you can receive a 25% rebate on your losses up to $100. That seems to be a better option than increasing bonuses which you cannot convert if you aren’t a slots player.

The Support Department

One area we were very pleased with at Lincoln Casino was the support department. There is a Live Chat window on each webpage, and we could access an agent 24 hours a day. It is surprising that not every casino has 24/7 support, so we give Lincoln some extra credit for this. The site also offers you the choice of email or telephone if you want to contact them by different means. Sadly, the site doesn’t have much in the way of a social media presence.

Conclusion

After getting past the obvious lack of connection between the name of the site and the look and feel of the design, we were hopeful that we would find an excellent offering at Lincoln Casino. The apparent lack of a gaming license, even from the country where they are located, was a bit of a concern for us. We appreciate that the site allows most Americans to play, but with a less than stellar Welcome Bonus, we weren’t too impressed.

Overall, the site offers the bare minimum that we would want to see in a casino we recommend. If you are aren’t too worried about bonuses, then you should enjoy the games provided by WGS.  However, you may be better served reading some more of our reviews, especially if you do not live in the United States.
