When a casino brand grows to a massive size, it brings a lot of attention to it whether it likes it or not. This can make every step the casino takes fall under scrutiny, so sometimes it is better for a company to quietly launch another brand to separate itself from the watchful eyes of the industry. This is the case for today’s casino being reviewed, Café Casino.
Café Casino comes to us from the group at Betting Partners. You may not recognize that name, but you have for sure heard of their other ventures: Bovada and Bodog. Now, the company claims to have no attachment to the old brands anymore, but we aren’t entirely sure that is true, and you may come to the same conclusion when you read this review.
Regardless of the degrees of separation from Bodog, what matters to us is what Café Casino has to offer on its own. The site is licensed out of the Kahnawake Gaming Commission, which is our first connection to the Bodog brand. The native reserve outside Montreal was once a powerful entity in the industry, but today is not much more than a glorified hosting facility.
One interesting fact (and similarity to Bovada) is that Café Casino is only open to players from the United States. It is very rare that we have to tell all of our readers who aren’t from the US that this is not a casino for you, but in this case, it is time for you folks to move to another one of our reviews.
The Casino Games
The games at Café Casino are provided by three different software companies: Betsoft, Real Time Gaming, and Rival Gaming. This is excellent news for our readers, as these are the three leading providers who continue to accept U.S. players on their platforms.
The slots catalog at Café Casino shows off the best that each of these providers has to offer. The Reel Series slots of RTG have very detailed graphics and gameplay, while the iSlots of Rival go one step further by creating a storyline that intertwines with the spinning of the reels. If 3D games are your thing, then you will love the slots options from BEtsoft, as they are best known for their design in this category. All in all, the variety of games and titles is enough for any player, even if there aren’t as many licensed brands as you may find in other casino lobbies.
Table Games at Café Casino also show the differences in development between the three vendors. With so many different looks at Blackjack available, you can choose which table you feel most comfortable at for your session. We particularly enjoyed the look and felt of the European Roulette game (let alone the fact that the odds are better than American Roulette). Overall, we think the selection in this area of the casino is excellent.
We are mildly disappointed by the video poker section, but really only because we know how many games the casino had to choose from between the three partners. There is still a decent selection for you to choose from, although we would like them to expand this area a bit more.
To house all three of these providers in one platform, the casino has to be managed in a non-download platform. This means that in theory, you should be able to access your Café Casino account from either your PC or your mobile device, and from there be able to play all your favorite games. We did notice that a couple of titles were missing from the mobile version, but that is likely just a configuration issue. The
mobile games we played had excellent speed and showed no signs of lag on our devices.
The Welcome Bonus
Café Casino has a very aggressive set of Welcome Bonuses for you. There are two specific bonuses which we outline here:
* Super Play Welcome Bonus – 500% up to $5,000 on your first deposit
* 10X Max Cash-out, 35X Play-through, Bonus is Cash-able
* Claim Bonus Code: CAFE500
* No- Max Welcome Bonus – 100% up to $1,000 on your fist deposit
* No Max Cash-out, 25X Play-through, Bonus is Cash-able
* Claim Bonus Code: CAFE100
Both of these bonuses are enhanced if you use the Bitcoin option for depositing (from 500% to 600% and from 100% to 150%). The wagering requirements are in line with other sites, and we like the fact that players get to choose from the two depending on how much they think they will play.
The Payment Options
As the site is only open to American players, deposit and withdrawal options are limited. The site is clearly trying to get you to use Bitcoin, although not that many people are comfortable using the cryptocurrency at this stage. If you don’t use Bitcoin, you can expect your payout to take up to 3 weeks to hit your account.

The VIP Program
The only VIP program is tied to the “Perks” loyalty program, which is a way to earn points and then redeem them for cash. There are many tiers to this program, and with each level, you achieve you are rewarded with a better redemption rate for your points and with a cashback on your losses which ranges all the way up to 18%.
The Support Department
If you need to get a hold of the casino, we suggest doing so via Live Chat, as this will give you a real-time answer to your question without having to pick up the phone. The site has an excellent FAQ section, and you do have the option of calling or emailing them in addition to the Live Chat feature.
While we believe there is a connection between Café Casino and the Bovada folks, we don’t see that as an issue at all, and the site operates as though it is completely different. We like the look and feel of the site and the structure of their bonuses and perks, so we are happy to recommend Café Casino to our readers.
